Toad Marriage
Two toads were married in Khochakandar, India a couple weekends ago in order to appease rain gods.
The bride had streaks of vermilion on her head, and both reportedly had bright red clothing during the ceremony. CNN, however, posted a picture of the groom completely nude. The article has since been removed from CNN's site.
This may be a perceived victory for gay couples seeking marriage . . . don't be surprised to see gay couples flocking to India chanting "If toads can get married, why can't we?"
Regardless, I wish them the best of luck, in warts and in health, until the day they croak.
