The Smarmy Carny

Well, I have been out of comission for the past couple days due to some surgery best described by Weird Al Yankovic's James Brown parody "Living With a Hernia."

Living with a hernia
Hurts me bad in a tender location
Living with a hernia
Had enough humiliation
Living with a hernia
Got to have an operation

So, other than wisdom teeth removal, this is the first surgery I have had since I was two years old.

Nothing is better than having an energetic rest his weight on you with his elbow — directly on your wound. Bad times . . . bad times.

Luckily, I haven't been blogging all that regularly anyway, so you probably won't notice much of a decrease in posting.
