Movie Monday: Happy Feet
As I popped in the ::amazon("B000BI5KV0", "March of the Penguins"):: DVD, a teaser for Happy Feet played. The Baby Mumble teaser merely showed a baby penguin (Mumble) happily tap dancing to ::amazon("B00006JSS8", "Stevie Wonder´s I Wish")::.
Happy Feet is clearly a children's movie, however the music and fun of the trailers points to the fact that it will likely be a big hit with parents as well.
Apple Trailers has not one, but two trailers available to watch. Of course, you can watch all three on the official Happy Feet webpage.
The animators have clearly watched Robin Williams as he delivered his lines in order to help animate his penguin. Watch trailer #2 again, and you can easily see Robin Williams moves in the character.
Unfortunately, there's a wait for this one. They're saving it until the winter holiday season, and the release isn't until November 2006.
