Super Bowl Commercial: Garmin – Maposaurus

4 February 2007

A man trying to read a map on the shoulder of a highway is surprised as his map grows in size until it turns into a large paper Godzilla-like beast known only as "Maposaurus." A hair band starts singing "Evil Maposaurus"

A thinly moustached man sees the Maposaurus from his car, grabs his Garmin, and turns into a large metallic man, reminiscent of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers show. He uses "GPS Power" to blast the Maposaurus with GPS rays, causing it to disappear.

The pitiful-looking hair band pops up at the end of the commercial to sing one last "Garmin!"

Super Bowl Commercial: Snickers – The Kiss

4 February 2007

Two mechanics are working on a car when one of them sticks a whole Snickers bar into his mouth. Unable to resist the temptation, the second mechanic bites the other end and they do a "Lady and the Tramp" move until their lips are touching.

The mechanics break apart and contemplate what they should do after this unintentionally intimate moment. They decide to do something manly, and quickly rip patches of their own chest hair off.

There are three alternate endings to this commercial, and the "Love Boat" version is clearly the best. To see all the versions, head to afterthekiss.com
