Video Vednesday: K-fee Car Commercial

24 August 2005

For the Americans who don't know much about European cars, there's a new model out on the market that is supposed to get 125 mpg (roughly, according to my conversions) and ride even quieter than an electric car. K-fee put out this commercial detailing its shape, design, and function. I know, I know . . . the video is a bit small, but if you pay close attention, you can see the details of the car as it drives along the distant road.

When you watch, be sure to listen closely to the music, too. It's a peaceful, traditional-sounding song, but if you listen carefully, you might recognize it as a recent popular American song, remade for the laid-back European folk. At least on my system, the music was a bit soft, so I had to turn it up before I was able to clearly recognize what the original was.

Turn your speakers up so you can hear the music!

Once you've seen that commercial (and if you enjoyed it), you can see the other K-fee commercials, too. There are six commercials in all, including the K-fee Car commercial.

As a side note, the phrase at the end of the commercials translate roughly as "You've never been this awake." K-fee is, of course, "is freshly brewed roasted coffee with whole milk that you can enjoy easily and everywhere."

Video Vednesday: Sleeping Car Prank

10 August 2005

You simply must watch this prank some guys pull on their buddy who has fallen asleep during a car ride.

There are several reasons why this week's video is so entertaining. First, this is the sort of prank we used to pull all the time. Second, the guy's expression is priceless! Third, I'm tired of writing, so just watch the video, for crying out loud!

Video Vednesday: What Would Tiny Do?

3 August 2005

Just file this under D for "Dancing Fat Guys in Speedos Are Entertaining."

What would Tiny do for Pizza Schmizza?

Video Vednesday: The Fingertips Project

6 July 2005

This week's video is "The Fingertips Project," a flash project put together by various members of the Animutation group. (This is the group that brought us "HYAKUGOJYUUICHI".)

Other than the fact that the Animutation group is full of "What the heck was that?" videos, another great part about this project is that they chose to use They Might Be Giants' classic track(s) titled "Fingertips."

So get out there and watch The Fingertips Project now!

Video Vednesday: How to Fold a Shirt

29 June 2005

Have you ever been frustrated at folding clothes?

Do you wish there was a faster, easier way to fold your shirts?

Would you demand that a video be made available for you to learn how?

If you answered any of these questions with "Yes" or "No," then this video is for you. Not only can you watch and be amazed, but you can watch a few more times and try and see how it is done.

You have now entered the classroom. Go ahead and learn how to fold a shirt.

After having watched the video about five times, I went home and was able to (basically) recreate the method on my own. I imagine that with some practice, I could to this on a regular basis. The trick here is to not let anyone else know that I have such powerful information in my hands, lest I end up living a life of t-shirt servitude!

Video Vednesday: Matrix Ping Pong

22 June 2005

Let's kick Video Vednesday off with something really fun. This is an awesome video of a couple guys playing Matrix Ping Pong. You have to see it to comprehend it. After a few moments, you can clearly see how it is done, and that makes it even more entertaining.

Matrix Ping Pong. Good times.

Video of the Week: Be Prepared!

16 June 2005

This is a half a year late, but I found a flash animation that has Nader singing "Be Prepared" from The Lion King.

It's good times.
