Those are all great ones, this one has to be said aloud to be fully enjoyed:
----------------------------------------------
"One smart fellow, he felt smart.
Two smart fellows, they felt smart.
Three smart fellows, they all felt smart."
----------------------------------------------
It is somewhat long, but there are no complex words so seems very simple... until you attempt to say it quickly--then the fun starts. Enjoy.

My eighth-grade English teacher taught us this one, and I've never seen it anywhere else, including the Internet:

Said Simple Sally Susan to Smiling Simon Samuel Simpsons, "Shall Simple Sally Susan and Smiling Simon Samuel Simpson go sailing on Smiling Simon Samuel Simpson's small sailboat?" "Sure!" said Simple Sally Susan to Smiling Simon Samuel Simpson. So Simple Sally Susan and Smiling Simon Samuel Simpson went sailing on Smiling Simon Samuel Simpson's small sailboat, singing silly, sweet songs.

As a Make-A-Wish employee I just want to clarify that it is not a "last wish" - We grant wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions. Many of these kids go on to lead long & healthy lives. Some become volunteers and others employees. The whole "terminal. last wish idea" is a huge misconception.

Just so ya know........

This is like Nick at Nite or TVland stating That everyone needs to eat together "at the family table" and even have a webpage http://www.tvland.com/familytable/ft_home.jhtml

Why is it necessary to tell families that they should be eating together? Oh wait! Wal-Mart just told them to get the TV, so they are a bit distracted now!

I get your point, but your view is a little skewed. Wal-mart isn't telling you that you should bring a big TV into your family, people are telling Wal-mart that. They just respond to customers wants and needs. Watching TV together is what most families do together... and probably while eating. It may be wrong and the opposite of togetherness, but that's what people do. If it was a popular activity to learn words with the family every day, you bet Wal-mart would have a commercial saying "bring your family together by buying our dictionaries." Alas, this is not the case. Wal-mart should not be blamed for the ailments of society. They're a business out to make money. They're not going to to the right thing, ever--no business will. They only do what's profitable, as they should, for otherwise they will go out of business causing people to lose jobs and families to go hungry.

By the way, Y in Spanish is also called "i griega", or "greek i", which is why she called it "I2K", or "i griega 2K" = Y2K

I am one of 200 volunteers who appeared in the winning Springfield Vermont video. After we helped our local Chamber of Commerce win the contest, they turned their backs on us. We should have been the first in town on the invitation list to view the world premiere of The Simpsons Movie but instead our seats were given to the more elite members of the community. And then not even a word of thanks or mention of us in the public ceremony outside the theater. Read more and experience the sights and sounds of a big time movie premiere in a small town at our new website:

Thanks for sharing your stats. I did that as well at http://www.planetmike.com/journal/2007/08/05/traffic-analysis-from-blogathon-weekend/ . One important lesson about the fundraising is to start earlier. Now that I've been through all of a Blogathon, I know much more what to expect.

wow, I only raised $33 but at least I have learned a lot from the blogathon. I will be more active in looking for sponsors maybe weeks before blogathon 2008.

P.S Thanks for telling me about my site's broken links. I didnt know there will be a difference when you use a www.rhodilee.com instead of http://www.rhodilee.com. Big thanks!
